Contempla esta maravilhosa ponte romana, considerada uma das mais belas de Portugal.
Esta ponte de origem Romana tem 380 metros de cumprimento e cruza o rio Lima.
É o monumento principal de Ponte de Lima. Conta com dois sectores distintos, uma de origem romana, com cinco arcos, e outro medieval, composto por quinze arcos, pois a ponte teve de ser ampliada durante o século XIV, devido a uma alteração no curso do rio.
A ponte romana original fazia parte da via que unia a cidade de Braga a Astorga (Espanha).

This wonderful Roman bridge is considered one of the most beautiful in Portugal.
This bridge of Roman origin is 380 meters long and crosses the Lima River.
It is the main monument of Ponte de Lima. It has two distinct sectors, one of Roman origin, with five arches, and the other medieval, composed of fifteen arches, as the bridge had to be enlarged during the 14th century, due to a change in the course of the river.
The original Roman bridge was part of the road that linked the city of Braga to Astorga (Spain).
