Calheta de Nesquim is one of the most precious pearls of Pico Island in the Azores.
The parish was the first whaling center on the island of Pico. Today it is still possible to visit the whaling boat houses and the lookout. The parish church has Baroque influences.

Calheta de Nesquim é uma das pérolas mais preciosas da Ilha do Pico nos Açores.
A freguesia foi o primeiro centro baleeiro na ilha do Pico. Hoje é ainda possível visitar as casas dos botes baleeiros e a vigia. A igreja da freguesia apresenta influências do estilo barroco.
