Engstlenalp is situated at 1,850 meters above sea level and close to the borders with the cantons of Nidwalden and Obwalden at the foot of the Titlis (3238 meters above sea level).
In summer Engstlenalp is a popular destination for excursions which can be easily reached by post bus or by car (be careful - narrow road!).
In winter there is no access to Engstlenalp by car.
