The Bridge over the river Tua or older bridge, located in the parish and place of Mirandela, makes the connection between Rua D. Manuel I, located on the left bank, where the old part of the city is located, and Avenida Nossa Senhora do Amparo, located on the right bank. Its construction probably dates from the 16th century.
The Mirandela fountain is one of the city's icons.

A Ponte sobre o rio Tua ou Ponte Velha, fica situada na freguesia e lugar de Mirandela, faz a ligação entre a Rua D. Manuel I, situada na margem esquerda, onde se implanta a zona antiga da cidade, e a Avenida Nossa Senhora do Amparo, situada na margem direita. A sua construção data provavelmente do século XVI.
