Hey! My family and I traveled to Catalina Island for three days. Come explore the island with us as we go ziplining, pedal boating and parasailing!

Travel Tips & Recommendations:
1) Bring dopamine, ginger gum, and ginger tea to help with motion sickness on the boat! Try sitting at the bottom deck near the back of the boat because that area is the most stable.
2) Activities: ziplining ($135), pedal boating ($20/hr), golf cart ($50/hr), Catalina Flyer (typically $75 but Groupon $50), kayaking ($25/hr), parasailing ($55 on Groupon — in Newport Beach)
3) Food: Bluewater Avalon (10/10) — good food, nice views, yummy lobster rolls ($24), Lobster Trap (8/10) — swordfish, lobster taco, good service, overall cheaper than Bluewater Avalon, Sandtrap (6.5/10) — cheap tacos/drinks, recommended by locals, good deals for happy hour
4)Bring cash if you are under 25 years old to rent the golf carts. $50/hour but you need to put an additional $50 deposit. There are only 2 places for you to rent golf carts and they often sell out. Try booking in advance or heading there right after you get off the boat to ensure that they don’t sell out.
5) Buying water at specific locations could be pretty pricey! We paid $7 for one water bottle at the liquor store so try bringing your own.
6) Hotel: We stayed at the Holiday Inn which was about 5 min away from the main area of the island. (approx. $250/night). They provide a shuttle to take you from the boat to the hotel and into town. Other hotel recommendations: Inn at Mt.Ada, Atwater, Pavillon

Thank you so much for watching my first travel vlog! (-:
