Special Administrative Region.
Hong Kong is a Special Administrative Region of China, known for its vibrant skyline, bustling markets, and rich cultural heritage. It operates under the "one country, two systems" principle, granting it a high degree of autonomy. The city is a major global financial hub and has a unique blend of Eastern and Western influences. Hong Kong's economy, culture, and political landscape have been topics of international interest and discussion. The "one country, two systems" principle allows Hong Kong to maintain a high degree of autonomy, including its legal and economic systems, for 50 years after the handover from British to Chinese rule in 1997. So, this arrangement is expected to continue until at least 2047.After 2047 hong kong may be part of China itself.

The main airport in Hong Kong is located on Chek Lap Kok Island. It is officially called Hong Kong International Airport and is commonly referred to as Chek Lap Kok Airport. The airport is situated on an artificial island reclaimed from the sea, connected to the rest of Hong Kong by the Lantau Link, which includes bridges and tunnels. Here all the construction of metros, tunnels under the sea,Flyovers,Buildings over the sea...etc is amazing and out of the box thinking.
We stayed in below mentioned Hotel
The Harbor Plaza Metropolis Hotel is located in Hunghom, Kowloon, Hong Kong. It is not situated on an island but rather on the Kowloon Peninsula, which is part of the mainland portion of Hong Kong. The Kowloon Peninsula is connected to the Hong Kong Island by Victoria Harbour, and it's a bustling urban area with various hotels, shopping districts, and attractions.
First day we went for City tour exploring few destinations.
For the tour you need to be on time to get into the tour bus since tour bus will not wait after the specified time.
