IEM (Industrial Engineering and Management) Conference is ESTIEM’s annual and international conference with the main theme of Sustainability in IEM.
The 2nd edition of this event is being organised by LG Lisbon open to all students.
This second day will begin with a workshop from Lidl. If you are passionate about Logistics, come to know Lidl Logistics as a whole, what we do at our headquarters, in our logistics centres and the entire process from reception, preparation to shipment of products. But more than that, discover how Lidl integrates sustainability into all its actions, from waste management to transport. This workshop will have Hans Remmer and Inês Lourenço as speakers and will take place on March 10 from 9:00 am to 10:30 am.
After that, Wrote, the leading electronics retail company in Portugal, will present its sustainability ecosystem. In this presentation, we will give an overview of Worten’s sustainability ecosystem, avenues of responsibility and initiatives. We’ll address the status of some core changes that we’re undertaking, and their potential impact. Struggles, difficulties and ambitions will also be a part of this sharing.
