In this episode, we show you the cheapest Airbnb apartment in Cotonou, Benin Republic, as well as speak with the flat's owner. He explains why he chose this place for the lodge, which is in Cococodji, Benin Republic, which is between Whidah and Cotonou in Benin republic.

The most visited cities in the Republic of Benin are Whidah and Cotonou. Whidah is full of the slave trade and colonial history from both the French and Portuguese eras, and Cotonou is the country's largest metropolis. We had a great time in this flat, which cost only $10 per night and was the cheapest we'd ever seen outside of Ibadan, Nigeria.

Speaking of Ibadan, I believe Cococodji's environment is similar to that of Ibadan, which made me fall in love with it, and we ended up staying in the flat for another three days.

It will only cost you 300 naira ($.60) to go from Cococodji to Dantokpa Market, which is the largest market in Cotonou.
