PLAYA DEL CARMEN BEACH SEAWEED UPDATE - GOOD NEWS!

This video will take you to Playa Del Carmen Beach in Mexico and provide information and an update on the seaweed situation. This video was shot at the end of 4th street. It is official, seaweed season has started. It's here. The water is brown in spots and the smell of the beach is bad. But the good news is that media is reporting that the seaweed will not get any worse between now and April 1. If the workers on the beach can continue to manage the seaweed as well as they have then the beaches should be ok until April 1st if what they are reporting is true. Time will tell.

Playa del Carmen is a coastal resort town in Mexico, along the Yucatán Peninsula's Riviera Maya strip of Caribbean shoreline. In the state of Quintana Roo, it’s known for its palm-lined beaches and coral reefs.
