I visit Polesden Lacey, a National Trust garden and house in Surrey. The day is spent exploring as I go for an English countryside walk and go on a fungi foray through Polesden Lacey's wider estate. The Autumn colors are beautiful in the house's immediate grounds. As well as the British countryside, I get the chance to take a house tour where I learnt about both the history of Polesden Lacey and of Margaret Greville - the fascinating lady who was the last person to own the English country estate before she handed it over to the National Trust upon her passing.
